![]() ![]() I've seen both enough examples of people panicking over satanic things, as I've seen people put their head in the sand, or inexplicably defend it irrationally, to know that there's both the satanic panic of myth where people got hypersensitive over something, as the fact that there was genuine ritual abuse happening, reported and sufficient evidence, but not a single arrest, or like Epstein and Dutroux, only a single fall guy for something that's obviously a large operation. But I don't really spread that idea until I have evidence for it, when I know it, like if I see them steal something. So I might get the creeps from my neighbors and assume something bad is going on. ![]() But for me to know something, I have a standard more akin to a court room, where I have sufficient evidence to prove it. I'll act as if it's 100% true, except that I'll leave room to learn otherwise. For me to believe something, I need only 51% confidence. Personally I make a distinction between "believing" and "knowing". ![]()
